Thread Rating:May 02, 2007 Just stick it int he psp/game folder but make sure that the eboot.pbp game is inside a folder of his own. For instance lets say i have castlevania so it would look like this. Ms: PSP GAME castlevania eboot.pbp After this you should be able to see the game on your memory stick. How to play on PSP: Copy the folder containing the EBOOT.PBP file to PSPGAME without changing the folder name (the game ID). Example: X:PSPGAMENPUJ00748EBOOT.PBP CFW PRO-C2 has problems with PSN eboots use 'PRO-C Fix-3'. Recommended Emulator: This is meant to be played on PSP consoles, not on emulators!

I did manage to somehow convert the EBOOT.PBP to a folder called PSPGAME. Inside that folder is a SYSDIR folder, a USRDIR (empty) folder, a ICON0.PNG file and a PARAM.SFO file. The SYSDIR-folder has a BOOT.BIN, DATA.BIN and a EBOOT.BIN file inside it. This looks more like the structure of an actual PSP-game, does it not?

RE: Please help. PPSSPP does not run Eboot.pbp file It is already stated on the FAQ that PSX eboot support will never happen, use a psx emu for that, there are plenty of them on the web (epsxe, fpse and so on). Since English is not my first language sorry for some misspelling on my posts |

Games usually don´t get released as .pbp. Is it a demo of FFV or where do you got the file from? |

After doing some Google, i found some similar files and I realized that the file was converted from PSX to PSP. I just cannot understand why they have to do that, when the game was released for PSP anyway. |

EDIT: Even if Final Fantasy V was released as PSN version, it is just an Official Eboot. Any PSP with CFW can run a psx Eboot (aka PSX converted game) aswell Any OFW with PSN games. The reason for which the game doesn't work with PPSSPP it's because it's a direct psx port, not a native PSP game (like Breath of fire III for example). Besides, the PSX version was one of the worst ports, if you are so concerned about the game look for the GBA version, since it has many bug fixes and new jobs. |
